We really want Our Town Story to be an album for your old photos, to fill in the gaps in the history books of our villages, towns and cities. We would also love for those pictures to be able to help others - for instance by using reminiscence therapy in treating dementia .
We're still a work in progress, and we appreciate all suggestions and observations!

This is a British Railways ferry (later Sealink) at an unknown port, possibly in the southeast of the country. If you've got any ideas how we can date or identify the ferry or the port, then let us know below!

I don't think this is in UK. There is a continental-style "no left turn" sign slightly left of centre. There also appear to beseveral VW beetles and a palm tree. Which isa bit of a mystery as it's definitely a British Railways logo on the funnel. My recollection is that they sailed to northern France, Holland, perhaps, and Ireland.
I think this could be either the Cambria or the Hibernia, which went between Holyhead and Dun Laoghaire.... have a look at this enthusiast's photos... ...are there palm trees in Dun Laoghaire?
