This is an interesting photograph as it shows things which are no longer there. The small hut at the far left of the picture in the middle was an Nissen Hut which was used in WW2 for Italian POW's. The semi detached white cottages near the bottom right of the picture were demolished & replaced by red brick dwellings in the same style.
