We really want Our Town Story to be an album for your old photos, to fill in the gaps in the history books of our villages, towns and cities. We would also love for those pictures to be able to help others - for instance by using reminiscence therapy in treating dementia .
We're still a work in progress, and we appreciate all suggestions and observations!

I thought this would be an easy one, what with the name being printed on the front. However, I can't track down whether it is Sparkford Road in Winchester, or in Yeovil.
If it's the one in Winchester, it would appear that these have been demolished and replaced with buildings belonging to Winchester College, but they barely look old enough in the picture to be ready for demolition now. If it's the one in Yeovil, then I can't find them at all!
Any thoughts or knowledge gratefully received!

I think Sparkford Road (in Forgotten Photo Friday) is what now seems to be just Sparkford, north of Yeovil. Searching Sparkford, Yeovil on Google Maps throws up pictures of very similar houses in Green Close, Sparkford.
OK - I see what you're saying, but I can't see these houses yet (although there are some newer ones in the area, so maybe they got demolished). I've moved the map pin, though, to the Yeovil one, and will keep searching the area.....
