We really want Our Town Story to be an album for your old photos, to fill in the gaps in the history books of our villages, towns and cities. We would also love for those pictures to be able to help others - for instance by using reminiscence therapy in treating dementia .
We're still a work in progress, and we appreciate all suggestions and observations!

This could be a holiday snap, as the steep hills are somewhat reminiscent of seaside fishing villages found in Cornwall or Yorkshire. The woman's outfit is a little ambiguous, could be forties or fifties, and the little girl's dress is even less dateable!
M & F Randall's drapery features prominently- do you know or remember a Randall's drapery? Is that a tea room in the first floor bay window on the left? Can you place this image?
