We really want Our Town Story to be an album for your old photos, to fill in the gaps in the history books of our villages, towns and cities. We would also love for those pictures to be able to help others - for instance by using reminiscence therapy in treating dementia

We're still a work in progress, and we appreciate all suggestions and observations!

Image Details

A virtually traffic-free Chapel Street. The half-timbered building on the left is Nash's House, next door to where New Place stood - the building where William Shakespeare and his family lived.

If you compare the street view image on the map below with the postcard, you'll see that the chapel itself has (re)gained its finials since the photograph was taken....
