Shared an update: Save Britain’s Heritage’s Building of the Month is an assuming building, now a Millets, in Leicester (@leicester-leicestershire-england-le1-5). A former temperance hotel, it is the premises from which Thomas Cook built his travel empire....

Shared an update: TIP: Lots of people search the internet for the names they have found whilst doing their family history research. Unfortunately, where names appear in photographs, such as on shop fronts, or in the handwritten text of postcards, they can’t be indexed - but if you mention them in your descriptions they can.

If you get the chance, just mention those sorts of things in your Our Town Story photo summaries, and that will hopefully expose them to a much wider audience - potentially one with direct links to your photo’s contents! #tips
