We really want Our Town Story to be an album for your old photos, to fill in the gaps in the history books of our villages, towns and cities. We would also love for those pictures to be able to help others - for instance by using reminiscence therapy in treating dementia .
We're still a work in progress, and we appreciate all suggestions and observations!

Always a fun challenge working out where old photo postcards were taken! Assuming that this is Wimborne Road in the Corfe Mullen area, as there doesn't presently seem to be one in Broadstone 'proper', it could be in the region of the junction with Higher Merley Lane (see map below -drag the pegman to see the Streetview) - the only properly bendy bit on the modern road.
As ever, happy to be corrected - you can sign in with Facebook to comment if need be....

After some chat on Facebook, it looks like Dunyeats Road used to be Wimborne Road, so this is more likely to be up at the top, near Broadstone Middle School....
