Established in early 2011 with the aim of publishing both known historical material and our own in depth research, we are committed to creating a legacy of information for the wider public as well as future generations of the Hoo Peninsular. Since its inception the society has grown into a fully constituted official small charity formally recognised by HMRC with its own HMRC Charities reference number. We are now open to public membership for those interested in the history of the area and practical archaeological activities aimed at confirming all aspects and associations of Cliffe and the surrounding Hoo Peninsula's historical past.
