Would it be possible to have a big box with 'Find your town here' (or similar) to help people look up a town. Feedback from one of our volunteers who I have asked to check it.
Are you thinking on every page, or just clarifying it on the home page? The magnifying glass in the top right corner will always start a search, but we could increase its prominence, and relabel the one on the home page....maybe....or something else?
